Call for Consultant: End of Implementation Evaluation of the BDEC Programme
Flying Dream Company Limited invites qualified individual consultants to express interest in conducting an End of Implementation Evaluation for the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Coaching (BDEC) Programme implemented under the NAFAKA KILIMO – Farm to Market Alliance (FtMA) Project. The evaluation will assess the results of a capacity strengthening programme delivered to 97 Farmer Service Centres across the Iringa, Njombe, and Mbeya regions.
The BDEC programme was designed to strengthen the organizational, managerial, and commercial performance of Farmer Service Centres, including farmer organizations, agricultural marketing cooperatives, agrodealers, SMEs, and village-based advisors. Through a structured combination of training, coaching, and practical business tools, the programme aimed to improve governance systems, financial management practices, record keeping, and market engagement among participating organizations.
Following completion of the implementation phase, Flying Dream Company Limited, in collaboration with NAFAKA KILIMO, seeks an independent consultant to conduct a short but rigorous evaluation of the programme. The evaluation will examine the extent to which the intervention addressed the capacity gaps identified during the initial assessments, document changes in business practices among participating entities, and generate practical lessons and recommendations to inform future programming and potential scaling of the BDEC model.
